My steering has improved apparently and I really can't wait to learn more it's SO good! Next week-changing gears! :D

I got told off by a policeman today for having my music on too loud whilst I was weeding the driveway. I think this is quite funny actually as a) it's the first time in almost 11 years I've seen a policeman around this part of Oundle and b) if I'd have been listening to something other than Anarchy in the UK by the Sex Pistols he probably wouldn't have told me off.

"I am an anarchist, don't know what I want, but I know how to get it, I wanna destroy, passer by 'cos I, wanna be ANARCHY!"

Weather in this country sucks ass, particularly when you're playing your first game of Cricket for a year and it starts pissing down in the middle of your first over bowling (and the first over of the game) causing the thing to be cancelled. So yeah, I'm not happy, only got to bowl 4 balls. Still, they weren't bad balls considering I've not bowled for a yuear. Well. 10 months. But still.

La-la-la....

Only 3 Exams left. WHEY! General Studies tomorrow, 2 hour English one on Monday, two and a half hour Drama one on Tuesday then after that FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Next week is looking up to be quite a good week post-exams. Tuesday I shall be off having a bit of a night out with the Drama crew celebrating the end of our last exam-BOOZE. Wednesday is my friend Ben's 18th Birthday Meal. Quite looking forward to it as firstly it's my favourite food, Curry and it's also FREE. CASHBACK! (Apart from drinks but hey) Thursday night I think is a bit of a no-no but because that's the day of the Leaver's Service we may spend pretty much all day in the pub anyways. Friday is the Leaver's Dinner which should be quite fun and Saturday is Matt's 18th Birthday Party with the theme of Film. I was gonna go as a Spartan from 300, but realised people weren't going to appreciate my semi-nakedness so will, instead be going as Napoleon Dynamite. SO glasses and my 'Vote for Pedro' T-shirt.

Monday will be preparation for our holiday in Norfolk discussing food issues, petrol issues and having a BBQ which should be fun.

Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday are kinda lame. Having a couple of people over on Wendesday, about it, then Friday we're off to Norfolk for a week! W0000000000000000000000000000000T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111

Also end of July, I'm off to Dublin for 3 Dyas. GUINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

So yeah, here are my plans for the next few weeks for all to see and has successfully kept me occupied for a bit.

Oh and also, I am offically addicted to the SHarpe books and films and also am quite chuffed with my new Ramones T-shirt :D.

Hah-Free Live sports :D

As a fair few of you *may* know, I'm a bit obsessive about Baseball. Recently I've been a bit annoyed that certain friends of mine have been able to watch Live games when i haven't. That has now changed as I have now been directed to a site whereby I can watch Baseball games FREe and other sports FREE as well using this thing called SopCast. I had a few issues with using it at first but now all is fine and dandy. And as I said, I get to watch the games free. And it's also quite funny as my friends that watch the games on MLB.tv have to pay $8 a month (ok it's only about £4 but hey) whereas all I have to do is download some software to my PC, virus check it then click on a link to watch the game. Sweet. :D

Just realised I've not posted for quite a while, though it's not exactly as if you've all been going "SAM STILL HASN'T POSTED ON HIS LJ! THE BASTARD! NOW MY WORLD'S GONNA END!" is it? Still, thought I'd keep you posted with events so far.

So yes, finished school 2 Fridays ago. That was fun. Going to the pub afterwards was pretty dudey, especially as we got an extra 1/2 hour drinking time out of the school as they kicked us y 13's out early. Then on the Tuesday I went to the Head Girl's birthday Party @ the Park. Was kinda fun, tho there was hardly any year 13's there, and the gril i met in Greece and asked for that coffee we didn't go on was there. As a result, me and Mark spent the majority of the night trying to avoid her really. Also her friend may have heard me call the girl I asked for the coffee a 'bitch' (for the sole reason she refused to talk to me at school in person) and thought I was calling her (the freind) a bitch, hence an angrybarrage on MSN on Sunday, which I got away with barely.

Then Wednesday was Jim's party. That was quite dudey as we made merry drinking beer and eating food and stuff. I won a couple of games of Twister, which, with my fucked up back and knee I was quietly impressed with. Also, playing manhunt around Elton was fun, esepcially when stuffed full of burgers and beer.

And yeah, since then been revising really. Got Russia on Friday, so spending pretty much everyday revising for that. THo after it's done it should be good as Mark, John, Liam, Dominic and myself shall all be going for Brekkie at the Draper's. Am quite looking forward to it. Also looking forward to going on holiday with my mates at the beginning of July as well as going to Dublin with mark and Liam for three days at the end of July/Beginning of August. Should be fun. Well that's all from me, enjoy.

Just read this comment from John from awhile back:

It just doesn't work like that. You meet a girl and you think "aww, balls, she's not Christian" and then you put up with it because she's fantastic anyway.

Basically sums up my feelings at the moment, in other words I meet a girl who's not Christian and I reckon I can live with it. In fact, after the Greece trip, my attitude towards relationships etc. has changed a fair amount. I feel slightly more liberated now. Huzzah!

I've been reading a few of my sister's MySpace blogs she's posted the past few days 'cos she's bored. People who think I'm mad-wait till you meet my sister or even wait till you read her MySpace blog. Seriously scares the shit out of me. Also, it appears she doesn't care about me 'cos she only talks about me when I'm either a) being embarassed by her or b) have just been woken up-which is when I'm never in a good mood. Also, she doesn't once mention I was in Greece last week. Damn her. Oooh, that's a thought, this time last week, we would have been flying back from Greece for 1 hour now after our stupid long delay because of the shoddy air conditioning. Anyhoo, that's all from me for now. Tatty-bye.

Bugger, Arse and other not-overly rude profanities.

So yeah, as you can see, I've not posted in here for a while. It seems a tad rubbish that once again I am using this thing to complain about the shoddiness of my life. Again, unsrprisinlgy it's love-life related. Well, on Saturday I finally got the balls to ask this girl I've like for yonks out. Only annoying thing is, literally seconds before I was going to ask her out she brought someone else (our Dave) over into the conversationa dn as much as I love Dave, I wasn't going to ask her out in front of him. So yeah, the next day (Sunday) I sent her a text message saying (and I quote): "Hey, how u doing, jst wondered if u fancied meeting up after college sometime if ur free. Was gonna ask you yday, bt oppurtunity didn't come up. God bless, Sam". I was quitely impressed with myself I had the stones to ask her that even if it was in a slightly wussy way via text. Unfortunately, it is now at least 36hrs since I sent that text message and I have not had a reply. Call me pessimistic, but I'm taking it as a big fat no. This makes me a very unhappy person and yeah, if you've read this and see me around moping and generally not looking very happy it's because either she STILL hasn't replied or she's said no. However, if I seem in a pretty good mood then either I've got over it or she's said yes. On the downside however the likelihood of this second set of eventualities occurring is very slim and it's much more likely that the first set will be true. Bugger. Anyhoo that's me for now. W00t. NOT.

Gah...

Yo. It's been a fair while since my last post on here so I thought I'd keep you posted on my life to date though you probably don't care but hey, writing in here is just to make me feel a bit better really. So, as you know a few weeks ago was my birthday, same day as John's, and the day before was my birthday party, 60's and 70's theme. This was good for the most part as most of the people I know and love came to celebrate my birthday with me, only problem is a few people got a bit wrecked, I didn't really care but my parents were none to happy with this. The result of this night led to Clewsy's Alcohol Theory #1. This theory is that at parties girls are more likely to get wasted than guys, at least get drunker quicker, due to the fact that most 'girly drinks' are spirits and tend to have about 7 or 8 times the alcohol content of most 'guys drinks' (AKA BEER).

The next day was the party of the triplets most of you will know of. Decca, Zippy and Zion. They're birthday was actually the Friday of that week but they had it a few days early. We went to Activity World for the party which was fun indeed, causing me to have a ma-hussive rip in the crotch of one of my three pairs of jeans that still actually fit. But never mind 'twas all in fun and I quite enjoyed that.

The rest of the week caused a bit of depression on my part due to the fact that I wanted to ask a certain girl out. I thought I would do this @ 'The Point' a Christian event that we (me and this girl) attend. I was planning to do the asking after The Point had finished. To my annoyance she didn't go 'cos she was too knackered from work. Fair enough I thought, maybe it's also God's way of saying wait a wee bit first lad. Annoying as it was though, I had this little voice in the back of my head saying "It's not that one, it's her sister, not that, the sister!" which annoyed me to no-end. This caused great confusion in my mind. Because I knew from my friend Tom that the one I was planning on asking me out fancied me a wee bit. However, at the Point, I was getting a strong, and I mean STRONG vibe from her sister that she liked me. Every boy's dream. Not mine. Bloody nightmare as it caused me and mind to be confused and me to be greatly pissed off for the majority of the week. This depression caused me to think "right...i need to go to the pub with a mate and talk about girls". Naturally, I thought John, Liam and Dom.

So I asked Liam, he was up for it, asked Dom, also up for it, asked John, who unfortunately couldn't make it because the lucky bugger was off in Birmingham to see Tenacious D. So, Friday night, Liam and Dom came round and we went of to three pubs within Oundle. First stop was The George the puib two minutes from there. We liked it there as it was nice and quiet and we could talk. From discussion with these two, I now know which one of the girls I'm after after the three of us weighed up the 'pros and cons' of the two. It's good to talk. The next pub on our mini-pub crawl was The Rose and Crown. This is also quiet a nice place, plenty of places to sit. In The R and C I had a Pint of Pedigree and a pint of Cask Ale. The Cask Ale was gorgeous, the Pedigree wasn't- it tasted somewhat of Rotten Eggs. Not pleasant. After finishing in The Rose, we went to the Eastern Spices curryhouse in Oundle where we got some food. Inspired decision I felt. We then went into 'The Ship'. ALthough, now I call it 'The Shit'. It was horrible in there. It was totally packed, smoke everywhere and wasn't really pleasant. They only had lager in there, not even any of Liam's beloved Kronenburg. So I had a pint of Beck's and Liam had some German stuff. Dom had Coca-Cola due to being underage. We didn't even finish our pints in there. Liam didn't like his and I just wanted to leave as I hated it in there. We then got back home, sat and talked for a bit then watched some Alan Partridge, then went to sleep and Liam and Dom left at 7.45 in the morning 'cos Liam needed to get back early and he was driving.

The rest of the weekend has been pretty boring really as not a lot happened. I am however quite annoyed right now as although I know which one of the girls I'm 'after' so to speak, I tried texting her through one of these Internet SMS things (because as you know, my phone is knackered) and no reply yet. All I can now do is hope that she either sends me back a message or I'll see her on Friday at our mutual friend Rachel's birthday party. So if I'm a wee bit depressed the next few days at school, that is why. So anyway, here endeth my incessant rambling. Thanks for reading and giving some interest, no matter how little.

Stuff happens.

Gah. Not wirtten in here yonks, thought I may as well as I got nowt else to do. Life at the mo is interesting. By interesting I mean confusing but still. As you can probably guess, the reasoning behind this is....that's right, girls. OK, at Letton I met a really nice girl, devillishly pretty and really nice, I seem to have got on well with her at Letton and THe Point as well. Where I stand now is confusing though. I mean I've put all my trust in God on this as El Bible tells me to, but still, I wonder, where should I intervene myself (I say intervene...what I mean is get off my arse and do something instead of just waiting for something to happen). I did have myself an idea about what to do, go to her place of work on Saturday and (not in front of the public or members of staff there) talk to her about it, but there was a number of reasons stopping me doing this. 1) How flipping desperate would I seem? 2) I'd look like a total prat if she said no or owt, 3) I'm not 100% about what to say and 4) Is no the right time? On the positive side, 1) I'd be in a relationship (hopefully) and hence would be a VERY happy man- so happy nothing could mess with my mood...except someone dying I guess, 2) the risk would've been worth it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure where the heck I am, what I should do or owt. I'm going to go pray really hard about it now. I'll keep you posted if you're really that interested (which I doubt you are as you're probably just reading this out of sheer boredom). Right. I'm off. 'Night all. Have a good one. God bless.

Small Word.

Small thing I feel a need to say (goodness knows why) that I officially am no longer bothered about getting a girlfriend. As you who read this ('cos, like me, you have No Life) know, last year I was constantly depressed y'know "I don't have a girlfriend, life is so shit" etc. (hey if you don't believe me, look back at earlier entries). Now I feel good about myself, and I have sorted my prioriteis out and realise being in a relationship isn't always the best thing to have and if I am gonna have a girlfriend at all and get married etc. she'll come along eventually and hey, being single isn't that bad I suppose. ALl I do now is put my faith and trust in God and know that He knows what's best for me and a girl will come along for me in His time not my own, and I thank Him for His infinite wisdom in this matter. Thank you Lord God.

Theatre Trip

Well yesterday was an Interesting Day. We had a Theatre Studies trip to Norwich, along with people doing AS Classics and Year 11 Drama as well to see Oedipus at the Norwich Playhouse. The play itself was good, which was just as well considering that the Coach driver got lost in the middle Norwich and we spent at least half an hour driving round Norwich trying to find the bloody place. But luckily this was made up for by John and Miles pointing out all the various pubs we drov past in Norwich with Miles saying "Oh that's a good pub!" or "Ah that's a crap pub" or "That used to be a pub, now it's ....." His knowledge of the Pubs of Norwich is pretty funny. As you can tell I was so bored that managed to keep me amused.

Also, the play led to this fairly amusing comment from Mr. Matthew Lowe, which was amusing at the time

Creone (or Tirysius, I forget-onstage): Have you never feel a sexual attraction to your mother?
Matt (quietly, obviously): Oh yeah, all the time!
Me: Ewwwwwww, shuttup Matt!

So yeah it was pretty good. And today is gonna be a good day I feel as I'm going to help at the Point (Christian Youth event in Peterborough) which should be good, especially as I get to see my best friend Esther who I've not seen for bloody ages, so this is most defintiely a Good Thing.

Another thing from the Theatre Studies trip I just remebered was something else pointed out by Miles I think I should cite here:

Miles: Has anyone else noticed the fact that we saw a play to do with Incest in a city in Norfolk?
ME: Oh yeah....hahaha, good point! No I did not notice that!

Damn I feel shite. I've been off school past two days, spent the majority of the time in bed asleep, which isn't a bad thing by any means, especially not in my opinion, but the fact I had this shitty flu doesn't really help. I kinda want to blame Ems for giving me it, but I won't for two reasons a) I was the one who chose to drink out of her bottle of water when she had a cold so it's my fault mainly and b)it would be Incredibly Mean, especially considering all the shizzle that she's going through at the moment.

As you probably know, the legendary Steve Irwin aka "The Crocodile Hunter" died in the wee small hours of the morning (well, middle of the day in Australia) and after hearing this tragic news I spent the next five minutes in a sheer state of shock. The guy was a legend who loved his job and his life. He'll be sorely missed. RIP Steve.

Phew.

Wow. This last few days have been fairly hectic. OK, so yeasterday I did absolutely bugger all until the evening when it was my good friend Stephie's party. That was fun, and I didn't get too drunk! WHOOOOO! I think the fact that I ate as a I drank helped me not throw up as has been the case on 3 of the last 4 occasions when I got drunk.

Today we had a BBQ in Ferry Meadows which was quite fun. If Liam still has a drving license after this I'll be surprised, I mean he drove his car with 7 of us in the car including Lou sitting on Ems' lap in the front seat and Ann lying across Me, Dom and Cat in the back seat. Pretty amusing. The actual lighting of the BBQ was pretty interesting as it took us bloody ages to do it! It was also fun when Ems and Dom decided to pile paper cups on top of a twig Dom had driven into the ground. It took a long time to light, not actually starting until after Ems had sprayed it with Cat's deodrant I think it was. All I know is it was a pretty good fire we had going until it started dripping flame and burning the grass which we then stomped out. Fun times. Oh and it has also become a feeling of mine that climbing trees is a Good Thing.

Tomorrow I may be going to Dominic's Poker Night which will be slightly less knackering. And plus we're gonna have some Pizza which is always good as I believe Pizza is also a Good Thing.
